Why can’t I program my cool times on the 8082?

A |
|
Because the 8082c has the AUTO feature, 8082C programming has two special conditions: 1) The Time Slots set in HEAT will be the same in the COOL program. The COOL program times cannot be independently set.
2) The COOL Target Temp cannot be set any closer than 3F above the HEAT Target Temp.
These limitations are necessary because the 8082C has the AUTO mode available. The AUTO mode allows the thermostat to switch from HEATING to COOLING automatically. Programmed HEAT and COOL times are generally set the same, and the programmed COOL temperature is generally more than 3F above the HEAT program.
